It might not have originated as a bio-weapon, but it was certainly used as one once it got out there - as you have so aptly stated.

Publicly, the chicoms' bio-weapons bunch want nothing to do with an investigation into Covid's origins, and perhaps neither do military scientists here. But privately, they're probably giving "high-fives" all around every day at the success of the weapon that has been so devastating without so much as a smudge on the atmosphere or any lasting suspicion outside the mainland that China has declared war on the West -- an all-out war they are hell-bent on winning.
