As a side note, I was in my local independent supermarket Monday. I noticed they now had 2pound boxes of frozen frog legs but they were way too expensive.

They had a lot of specialty items in that freezer.
I saw some excellent quality, cleaned, tame(not wild) rabbits. I picked one up for a rabbit and andouille gumbo.

As I continued down the meat aisle, I bought some loin end pork chops for 99cents a pound. I moved the rabbit over to get the chops in and that's when I saw the price.

$35/each!!! Lol

I cussed in French and then I went put dat back in the freezer.

I'll just go walk behind the house. One good thing about a rabbit.... easy to clean.

My friends took me to Hereford House yesterday for my birthday. I almost always get their baby back pork ribs, MMMMMMMMMMMMMM. But I couldn't find them on the menu. When the waiter came back we asked him if they don't have them anymore? He said they'd made a lot of changes on the menu, and one being they couldn't get pork in lately, and didn't know when or if they could in the future. Plus the prices had gone WAAAAAAAAAAY up.
