As reported by 9News, New Zealand Customs this week said it has no power to stop Australians leaving that country to travel anywhere else - despite Aussies still being under a strict travel ban for the rest of the world.

You cant just hop on a flight out of NZ, and If you were able to , you would not get back into NZ from the country you traveled to ,As we are only letting in NZ citizens , or residents and you would need to book an MIQ spot on your return and do two weeks isolation
