I hear ya. This is all private land up here...private as can be. We don't turn each other in to the law. well...one is an idiot.  and it's somewhat a private area.   My daughter, our place and another neighbor are at the entrance to the woods which are directly behind us. Nothing goes up or down this road without us knowing it and alerting the rest of the neighbors.

if he brings in his deer, and they go to the house, and find powder tracing IN or ON the cart, they WILL take it. from a moving vehicle can be construed eight ways from sunday.

so make sure YOU NEVER target practise from a car or truck or motorcycle. they can even go at night with a bottle of luminal and grab anything and arrest the owner for poaching.

Electric buses? We had them, for many years.



We never had electric trucks - for obvious reasons, they didn't stick to absolute regular routes - but we had electric trains.



They sucked then - it was funny watching an electric trolley-bus come off its wires, in traffic - and they suck more with a dangerous, hyperflammable battery pack underneath. They could suck less with a small battery pack that would maybe enable them to travel short distances between overhead wires...but, there was a REASON why diesel became the predominant power mode, and those reasons still exist today.

That's going to be the end of most of those battery buses.

San Francisco has pretty much gotten over its outward animosity toward tech buses, but a handful of people who were parked on Castro Street Monday morning have fresh reason to be resentful of the tech bus shuttles. A Monday morning Reddit post asking “Why have the police closed Castro Street?” brought numerous commenters saying things along the lines of “A tech bus plowed down the hill backwards through a bunch of traffic.” KPIX has confirmed that a commuter bus struck multiple vehicles on Castro between 20th and 21st streets, and adds that at least one person was injured.
