An old camry , yes.
Sorry., that was a joke I read elsewhere. Should have put it in these
I'm fed up of comments from people ridiculing EVs. They don't know what they're talking about.
Personally, I drive two top of the range EVs, a Jaguar and a Porsche.
Their acceleration and handling is fantastic. They look brilliant and they're really cheap to run. They need hardly any maintenance and haven't depreciated since I bought them.
Literally the only criticism I could make of them is sometimes, if I really push them into a corner, they can fly off the track and get stuck under the sofa....

An ev does not suit me at this stage.
We are on hollies,do 600 kms on a big day.

An EV suits almost nobody.

And the first buyers are now dumping them.

There's an Eww Toob channel - Car Questions Answered. The presenter is a kid, about 25, who's a used-car dealer. He's interested in the prices of cars, new and used. As a dealer, he goes to dealer-only auto auctions to buy his inventory, and he tracks them on many of his videos.

One such...interspaced with various cars and SUVs, was a 2012 Nissan Leaf. Immaculate shape; only 17,000 miles.

In the auction, where 15-year-old SUVs were bringing $12,000...the Leaf brought only $1000.

That is not uncommon, he said. Many auction houses won't even take them, because there are few dealers who even want to mess with them.

Because there are no customers for them.

That same guy, goes to a Ford lot from time to time...he's showing the STACKED Ford Lightning (EV) trucks. NO ONE WANTS THEM. And Ford is losing about $36,000 on EACH SALE.

Ford is doing it anyway to please its masters in the Regulatory State.

For some people they are ideal. But that is a small market and likely saturated. I could use one, as I rarely drive more than 100 miles a day. But I can't justify a 2nd car. I would be far better off with a small ICE like a Rio, or Tercell
