no Lummy. its all a complete fraud. carbon zero is its stated goal. wanna know the real reason theres a police action near crimea? because exxon lost its exploration leases off crimeas coasts that contain in excess of 25trillion cubic feet of natural gas. add that to exxons loss of another 50trillion cubic feet of gas off russias arctic coast that they lost, and youll see that exxon wants to bring everyone down with them. their known but unproven reserves fell 50 billion dollars worth in just two short years, yet they did not implode due to them controlling the dialog of global warming.

A hydrogen combustion engine. I know little of it.
It'ld probably have a better range than an EV.
Hydrogen is apparently hard to isolate and very flammable.
So storing and transporting it requires special measures.

The inherent efficiency of an electric motor (95%) vs the inefficiency an internal combustion engine (35%) is a big hurdle to overcome.

Hydrogen burns at 5000 F. Enough to destroy most things. A tremendous amount of energy will be wasted keeping it cool. Typically you are not allowed to enter tunnels with propane tanks. Hydrogen even though it is much lighter than air can possibly still get trapped in a closed environment. As some one on another forum stated "When I think Hydrogen, I think Apollo 13".
I do see ICE engines going by the way. One company is exploring using Ammonia NH3. They split the H2 off and run it through a fuel cell. Refilling is comparable to a gasoline fillup.
