State Democrat Expelled From Office for Allegedly Embezzling 600k From Institute Funds

Following a vote by the state’s ethics committee, efforts to have a state senator removed from office took a significant step forward.

The Tennessee Senate Ethics Committee has recommended that State Senator Katrina Robinson (D-Memphis) be expelled from the Senate because of her conviction on federal fraud charges. The committee voted 4-1 in favor of the recommendation.
