New Orleans Saints

Word n the street is that Sean Payton will be stepping down as Saints head coach.

Payton and Brees had a great, long run in NOLA!
New Orleans owes them a great debt of gratitude.

Growing up, for me,  the Saints were just so damn bad for so long. Not even Archie Manning or Bobby Hebert(A-bear/Cajun Cannon) could do anything .

There was an old saying in Cajun country that if the Saints ever won the Superbowl, Hell would freeze over. Lol

Hell froze over one cold, February night in bayou country in 2010 as I was working 200 feet up on a Coker Unit Drill Tower in Laplace , Louisiana on the outskirts of NOLA.  

I knew they had won because  all the crane operators bought little tv's to watch the game in their rigs and they all started to blow their horns. I started climbing down because I thought it was an emergency!

Then, I was so high up I saw fireworks going off in all the little towns on both sides of the Mississippi River  and figured it out. Lol.
Hell froze over. I almost did too!
I stayed sick for six weeks on that dreadful job.

Some local tv is about to live stream a Payton announcement.

Wow. What a class act. He's out but been giving a detailed account since 2006! I watched about 35-40 minutes. I think he will finish up about midnite. Lol.

All they talk about on the radio is Sean Payton coming to coach Dallas. I hope he keeps his reputation intact and avoids Dallas. Good man, good career.
