The paper then tries to reassure parents that at the club they will teach kids “Benevolence and empathy, Critical thinking, Problem solving, creative expression, and personal sovereignty” – of course outside the Judeo-Christian framework of morality. That sounds like a recipe for disaster.
You know who else pursued “personal sovereignty” outside of God’s kingdom? Yeah, the devil himself. Awesome!
Looks like Illinois may beat California to the judgement seat.

Re: AfterSchool Satan Club, Illinois
How do they get to justify having this on school property when so many schools won't allow Christian activities, claiming it "religion"? Well.......so is satanism.

In a couple weeks they teach the kids to prep pets for ritual killing. After a couple months they move onto human sacrifice.

When they start using their parents for a ritual killing.....maybe the other parents will finally step up to the plate.

Re: AfterSchool Satan Club, Illinois
I can't find any article that says how many parents have signed the permission slips. I'm very curious about that....
"The Satanic Temple claims on its website that it views Satan as a “mythical figure representing individual freedom.”
The Daily Wire said that a parent had reached out to the district, according to Savage, and said that since the school offers a child evangelism fellowship club, she asked to bring the Satanic Temple program to the school.
The organization, however, is not without controversy.
According to Newsweek, four former members of the group are being sued for over $140,000 for so-called “reputation losses” after they made a number of allegations against the organization, including mismanagement of funds, harassment of dissenters, toleration of anti-Semitism, and abusive leadership.
They also referred to it as a “cult-like group masquerading as a religion,” Newsweek reported.
The four have received information from a number of other aggrieved parties around the country, who alleged the organization engages in “sexually deviant gatherings,” which they said a Satanic Temple memo allow for “orgies, BDSM, fetish balls…ritual flogging, live ritual sex, [and] burlesque show.”
The organization, based on the Newsweek piece hardly seems innocent and it doesn’t seem like an organization that should be near children, some say.
The group is based in Salem, Massachusetts and was founded in 2013.
Around that time, Newsweek says, the group staged a “prank mocumentary in Florida,” where actors impersonated satanists.
Later on, they staged a Black Mass on the campus of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Given the history of the Satanic Temple, it is fairly easy to understand why the school district is hesitant to block the event.
Newsweek noted the group has filed a number of lawsuits against government entities, including Scottsdale, Arizona and in the state of Arkansas.
The group has also taken on big tech, suing Twitter in 2018 and later that same year also suing Netflix for $50 million.
They are also currently challenging Texas’ “heartbeat law” which prohibits abortions after a fetal heartbeat can be detected six weeks into a pregnancy.
They claim abortion is a religious act for its members, and the law inhibits peoples’ religious right to terminate a pregnancy."
This article has a good deal more info than any others I've seen so far:

Satan school club for 6-year-olds - PROTEST!
https://www.returntoorder.org/petition/urge-jane-addams-elementary-school-to-end-satanic-after-school-club/?pkg=rtoe1495
A Satanic club has opened for children...as young as six years old!
Young students at Jane Addams Elementary, in Moline, Illinois, came across fliers in their school inviting them to an "After School Satan Club" (ASSC) taking place in one of the school's classrooms!
The "club" was approved by the Moline-Coal Valley School District Board of Education on January 10. The first ASSC meeting took place on 13 January.

According to reports:
"Parents at an Illinois elementary school are expressing concern after the local school board approved a new extracurricular club for children that will be led by members of The Satanic Temple and held in school facilities.
"According to WQAD, the so-called 'After School Satan Club' was approved by the Moline-Coal Valley School District Board of Education on January 10. The club will hold meetings at Jane Addams Elementary in Moline, Illinois, beginning at 2:45 p.m. -- immediately after school -- on January 13, February 10, March 10, April 14 and May 12. It is open to children in first through fifth grade, although students first need permission from a parent."

This is political correctness at its worst.
These clubs are a serious danger to children. They push the idea that Satanism is normal and acceptable. And this destroys a child's innocence by breaking the barriers of horror for the devil and evil that children have.
Moreover, Satanism is not a religion, but the antithesis of it. This blasphemous sect should not be allowed near impressionable children.
Please sign our petition to the Moline-Coal Valley School district, urging it to reverse its decision, and to block the Satanic club.

Sincerely,

Re: AfterSchool Satan Club, Illinois
This is very bad development, and one that unfortunately can go toe-to-toe with the likes of Tucker and hold its own:

Too bad our Ausie friend Leon has left/been driven off this board since he was intimately familiar with Satanic religion, being a former member of the cult. It isn't going away, but he evidently is not coming back. Too bad. I felt he was a friend and ally.
You will never readily out-argue them, but at the end of the day, they will offer up no answers because they have none.
