Leftist Lies and Hypocrisy

It’s interesting. The media warns the average law abiding citizen to stay home, not go out, not go to church and certainly not to congregate with hundreds of other people. Apparently if one goes to Wal*Mart, the Supermarket or participates in violence posing as a “peaceful protest”, one won’t get the Wuhan virus. The message seems to be that if you are obeying the law THEN the Wuhan virus will get you but, if you’re “protesting” by smashing windows, looting, setting fires, murdering, assaulting Police Officers or insulting Police Officers, you are completely “safe”. It isn’t a matter of whether one washes their hands nor wears a mask or not. It all depends on whether one is obeying the law or the “rules” that the leftist put out. At the same time, if you are at a beauty parlor and are a Democrat, you need not wear a mask because you are prevented from getting the Wuhan virus as well.

Apparently, resisting arrest, attempting to disarm law enforcement Officers, running from the Police and making obscene gestures to law enforcement officers will also prevent the Wuhan virus from infecting you. Why, the media would never attempt to mislead anyone, now would they?

I find it rather odd that when President Trump was President and closed the U.S. border to China, the Democrats all called it an act of “hate” and claimed that he was “over-reacting”. Those same Democrats claim that President Trump didn’t do enough, reacted quick enough nor handled the Wuhan virus correctly. I guess President Trump should have let thousands become infected and die before doing anything like Obama did with H1N1? Of course it doesn’t matter what President Trumps did or didn’t do as far as the Democrats are concerned. And of course illegal aliens are immune from getting ANY disease? The Democrats got their Chinese puppet into the WH, that’s all that matters to them.

It is also noted that “protesting” the death of a criminal is alright however, holding a Republican Political rally is not. Congregating with hundreds of people of dubious ethics and hygiene is alright but, attending a rally to support a law and order President is not. And of course, the political left leaning media is not prejudice or anything! Why, the liberal media just wants everyone to be “safe”, that’s all.

Honestly, I take it all in stride. I know who created the world, who is in control and who owns me. I have peace instead of panic because I know who gives peace. I have faith instead of fear because I know who to believe in. I know that it wasn’t the Politicians nor “science” that created the world, created the heavens nor owns me.  I exist to do God’s will. I exist to serve Him. I exist to worship Him. I was bought with a price and I live for Him. Certainly, I will live in my physical body until He decides to call me home.

I know that the liberal media WANTS people to panic. I know that the liberal media WANTS people to be afraid. I know that the liberal media WANTS people to forget all of the lies they have told and just believe them now. The Bible talks about how stable and steady God is. The Bible talks about how God never changes. The Bible talks about how God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. The same cannot be said for the media.

The only “fear” that people should have is the ‘fear’ of the Lord. God is able to kill the body AND soul. The Wuhan virus, Omnicron virus and the protestors can only kill the body NOT the soul.

If we suspect or have established that a statement is a lie the next step is to spot the flaws. Beware of a faulty premise; a vague or false proposition that leads to an incorrect conclusion. It’s the old “When did you stop beating your wife?” scenario. Canadian conservative leader Pierre Poilievre gave a master class in this in 2023. Instead of blithely accepting a reporters’ false premises, he asked questions:

Reporter — “A lot of people would say that you’re taking a page out of the Donald Trump book.”

Poilievre — “Like, which people would say that?”

Reporter — “Well, I’m sure, like, a great many Canadians, but...”

Poilievre — “Like who?”

Reporter — “Ha ha, well, I don’t know who, but...”

Poilievre — “Well, you’re the one who asked the question, so you must know somebody.”

Reporter — “Ha, well, okay, I’m sure there’s some out there.”

Lesson: Before you respond, stop and consider how the question is phrased. It’s easy to refute a declarative statement, as Poilievre so aptly demonstrated. When we’re debating leftists, pose questions to them rather than responding with declarative statements. Kamala Harris recently claimed that Donald Trump plans on imprisoning his political opponents, the unspoken assumption being that he will do so for revenge and not because they’ve committed any crimes. Perhaps someone should ask Kamala if it’s a crime to post a meme on the internet, or to pay off a loan on time, with interest, to banks who are eager to do business with the debtor. Even better, ask if it’s illegal for a former American secretary of state to (allegedly) sell classified hypersonic missile technology to Russia...and who were Julius and Ethel Rosenberg?

Remember when we’re debating the left we’re likely speaking to someone who’s been completely indoctrinated and so is impervious to the facts. But there are usually independents or uncommitted people silently following the discussion, and those are the people we’re trying to convince. Debates like these can sharpen our skills and, hopefully, bring more people over to our side.
