Banks not lending money to Conservatives

I'm watching NEWSMAX and they have a Canadian news reporter stating that the Royal Bank of Canada (Canadas largest bank)has initiated a new policy where they will not issue loans , mortgages ,and credit to Conservatives . 
Its getting near the time that may be too late for us to take these global Marxist out as we have tolerated them and given them a foothold in business and government . We need to form up and strike back with no mercy .

Is it even legal to ask a person's political leaning when issuing loans?

And how would you know if they are conservative ?

Be a bit like saying you wont lend money to bisexual people

Ballots are secret, sure, but perhaps in Canada you declare your party affiliation when registering.

Cant see it, It would contravene some UN charter regarding freedom of political association lol

In NZ we get all these organisation's that invest kiwisaver funds. " retirement savings" telling us " we don't invest in oil gas coal ,weapons, nuclear tech"" And I think great I'll make sure I don't put mine in your fund you wankers lol

We did have a situation here a while back " I cant remember the exact details" where a couple of lending institutions refused to give a large company banking facilities , i think the were into mining,

Some US states require you to give your party affiliation when you register to vote. I was googling something not long ago and a name came online up saying they were a registered Democrat.
