Thank you @Calypso Jones I have discovered that "when all else fails, pray" is going about it backwards. Tis much better to pray before everything falls apart. His solutions are always better than mine and most often settle issues that I had never considered.

You know I've had very similar experiences! No matter the subject, no matter how much education or experience I think I have about it, the Lord always knows more, has better solutions and settles issues that I had never even considered.

I don't always pray first but, you are exactly correct that it is the very first thing we should do every time.
