Once again we were proven to be correct….

According to the latest reports, the sham January 6th Committee is now trying to use their proceedings as a front to change election law.

Who here can honestly say that they’re surprised by this development?

The specific legislation in question is the Electoral Count Act of 1887, which Democrat supporters claim is the reason that the riots occurred on January 6th.

Never mind the increasing mountain of evidence which points to a deep state ploy in order to further an agenda.

Democrats and liberals seemed to be all for the idea:

The New York Times writes:

Members of the select congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack at the Capitol are pressing to overhaul the complex and little-known law that former President Donald J. Trump and his allies tried to use to overturn the 2020 election, arguing that the ambiguity of the statute puts democracy itself at risk.

The push to rewrite the Electoral Count Act of 1887 — enacted more than a century ago in the wake of another bitterly disputed presidential election — has taken on new urgency in recent weeks as more details have emerged about the extent of Mr. Trump’s plot to exploit its provisions to cling to power.

Just The News states:

The committee calls the act “severely flawed” and recommended changes, including “limiting the grounds for a lawmaker to object to counting a state’s votes and clarifying that the vice president’s role in the process is merely ministerial, and thus lacking the authority to unilaterally throw out a state’s votes. It has also recommended setting clearer time limits for states to choose electors,” the Times reports.

Anti-Trump committee member Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said the act “is directly at issue,” and changes would be recommended.

Communist democrats are beginning to understand that every election is a change of government. If they want to stay in power they must do away with elections.
