quite dry buttercup. thats because you all bitch when it does indeed rain. i dont see anyone from Namimbia, Botswana, Angola, or Zimbabwe complaining one iota about the rainfall they recieved in febuary this year. or the fucking rugheads who got inundated in the arabian desert. have you heard one complaint about this climate/global/cooling/warming? or the complete closing of the ozone hole over antarctica? the icecaps in the center of antarctica continue to thicken, even though little snow falls there. it must suck to be a greenie. always being wrong about your god, anti-polution.

Re: Australian rainfall maps
what i would do if i were australian king: expel every dink there who did not actively fight for australia in any war back to 1914. with the new funds you now have ( all their money and financial wealth ) , clear out where it tipicaly floods of any and all manmade objects. both underground and above ground. then, at the narowest parts of the valleys, construct huge dams that are designed to be overtopped with flood water. once some of those dams hold reservours of water, construct pumphouses to pump the new found resources to irrigate farmland and ajoining forests.

I didn't realize how dry Australia was. For comparison, where I'm looking to build in Texas gets 44 inches of rain per year on average. That's over 1100mm. Texas is nowhere near the wettest area in the US. Australia looks alot like Texas, but Texas is much more arid than most of the US.

Some parts of Aust get a lot of rain, up north. Have tropical climate there.
In the interior is desert. Amazing place
From your map the US gets most rain on the east coast. Would never have guessed that.

cripes! they are black either side of the yellow. that can never happen. ever. not with the very same weather pattern. i work with odds all the time. numbers odds. this stands out so blatant, shows that its never ever been vetted.

It's accurate. The reason is elevation . That's the Olympus mountains in that yellow box.jirqoadai wrote:cripes! they are black either side of the yellow. that can never happen. ever. not with the very same weather pattern. i work with odds all the time. numbers odds. this stands out so blatant, shows that its never ever been vetted.
The Puget sound to the east is bordered by the Olympus range to the west and the Cascades to the east causing a convergence zone around Seattle, Everett, Lynwood.
