Whenever a government claims to have the peoples' interests at heart you need to think again.

In all of history of mankind, there has never been a political elite sincerely concerned about the well being of regular people.

What makes any of us think it is different now. If the Age of Enlightenment has brought forth anything then certainly it is this: Never take anything any government tells you at face value. Always look for ulterior motives and ask 'Qui Bono' WHO benefits.

It is certainly not you.

They would be kings again if not for.the prevalence of democracy in today's world.
It would be very similar to the control theocratic societies, like Islam, exercise over its people. And not just Islam. History has shown us the Roman Catholic Church has employed the same tactics, including execution, up until the Age of Enlightment.

It's one off the reasons I have very little trust for organized religion.

We will soon be complete subjects of the state(kings), if no one beheads the monster they unleash on us.
