parents are reduced to the term 'caregiver' in the material. Teachers are the 'trusted adult' in the material. The material/teacher induces sadness and depression in the kid, and usually that sadness is related to something in the family...think about a sad time it says, 'well my mom didn't have time to take me for ice cream'. undercutting the authority and responsibilities of the parent and putting the teacher at the top as the one to fix this....what they do is to make our kids depressed, sad, victimized. Sad enough to consider drugs? for happiness? Great for society.
