entering Qld and as from tomorrow you will need a jab to cross the border from NSW into Qld (depending on

My grandson and his partner recently moved up to the GC from Sydney.
They both work in NSW...and live on the GC...
Neither of them want the jab...
NOW, because of gollums dictatorial rulings, they have effectively
both lost their jobs as she, on Monday, if she goes to work, will
not be permitted back into Qld unless she has had the jab.
If she has the jab, she will be permitted to return into Qld
for the moment, but her "value" to Qld will then be under
consideration as she will be criss crossing the border daily...
My grandson is uncertain where he stands because of his occupation.
Every time he contacts Qld Health he gets a different interpretation of his
occupation and his "value" to Qld...
They have a twelve month lease, therefore rent to pay every week...
These are the "leaders" whom you bow down to with your
admiration, courtesy and respect...
They deserve none of the above for the lives they are ruining...

You asked a reasonable sensible question.
I think this version of covid will emerge in QLD. I cannot see how an artificial barrier will stop a virus.
I think we are close to the stage where we should let it runs its course.
We have bought ourselves time, many of us are vaccinated.
It is going to happen.

As you and many others have suggested, our 'delaying strategy' has costs.
We cannot do this continually.

I did not read that before I did my previous posting.
Lots of people have been hurt, me included. I could not go to my fathers funeral.
