Actually, I was in favor of that idea. As things have developed, it was not the wisest position.

My idea was that "Happy Holidays!" was generic and therefore more inclusive, "Merry Christmas!" was not.

I was never in favor of it. It was merely the prelude to more demands which ultimately eventuated. No Christmas carols, no nativity scenes etc etc etc. Merry Christmas is perfectly inclusive in my view and if it offends people they should be choosing another country to reside in or just greeting others as they like without trying to change the way everyone else around them sends their Christmas greetings.

We sit here trying to find reasons why these companies make these moves that we all know is going to be detrimental to their bottom line , Nike could care less about our views , Coke does nothing but destroy itself because it seems to rely on its name and hopes that covers for the fools it hires as leaders , Bed Bath and Beyond and other major retailers tell us to go screw ourselves and they aren't going to sell Mike Lindels "My Pillow ".
These people don't want to bargain and they've made economics into a political hate match and believe they can do very well without us .
They have ,in effect, declared a moral religious war against us and if it means that we cease to exist than so be it . If they can facilitate our death because of our politics than they will expedite it .
I say drop the gloves and lets start retribution , its the only way to gain control .
