Unilever Goes Woke

Unilever has announced it will eliminate the word 'normal' from the packaging of all its beauty and personal care brands as part of a new Positive Beauty vision and strategy.

The UK-based company which sells in over 190 countries and reaches 2.5 billion consumers a day, is best known for brands including Dove, Lifebuoy, Vaseline and Sunsilk.

It explained the decision to remove the word 'normal' followed a 10,000-person study, which revealed more than 56 per cent of people feel excluded by the beauty and personal care industry.

Globally, more than a hundred Unilever brands will have the word 'normal' removed to describe skin type or hair texture, and replaced with terms such as 'grey hair' for shampoos or 'moisture replenish' for skin creams by March next year.

Social media users have already taken to Twitter with many praising the move, however others argue Unilever is being influenced by a minority group of politically correct individuals.

Sure certain shampoos can make your hair look and feel better but how can a bottle of shampoo make YOU feel better? If you need the wording on a bottle of shampoo to make you feel better you have far more serious issues and you sure ain't normal. Maybe that's the point. *shakes head

"You're only pretty as you feel." And it ain't just skin deep, nitwits.

But hey, why stop at making only people feel better?

The new strategy also aims to protect and regenerate 1.5 million hectares of land, forests and oceans by 2030.

Gotta wonder just how they plan on accomplishing that amazing feat. By dumping all their soaps into it?

But great. Dove is about the only soap I can use.

Yes, that's just exactly it. The people running the markets in today's world have been educated (okay, indoctrinated), to "feel" this way, and find it an entirely appropriate way to run a business.

Sad(der) fact is, it sells, because so have their customers.

The whole country's going Woke. Saw a piece on elite private prep schools in California and the Boston area, teaching Critical Race Theory, HARD. The parents are distraught, and are meeting in secret. IN SECRET. They don't want to email each other, less Gmail pick it up. They don't want to use Face***k. So they arrange for "cookouts" and meet, but not to have a good time.

Why don't they pull the kids? First, in many areas, especially Lost Angeles, schools are all still closed. Second...the POINT of a prep school is to get into an Ivy League university. Pulling out, loses much of that shot. Objecting to the new Socially-Conscious cirricula, will get a negative (probably coded) remark on the student's profile, when records are sent to Admissions.

Get Woke to go to a good university. Where they program the stoodints MOAR...and then, take your Wokeness and go to corporate Amerika, and Woke the Nation.

We are done. At least in the form we have been. We have poisoned the minds of the Elites; and they are taking us down.
