Muscle power.
Use brillo to remove the rust and funk. Clean insides and outsides. Rinse. May take several passes. When clean, towel dry and put on burner and heat to hot to remove all moisture from pores. Do the same with the top on a separate burner.

Let cool.

Coat both the inside and outside with cooking oil using a paper towel . Liberally, but not to excess where it pools in the bottom.

Heat in oven to 350 until smoking occurs, then about half an hour more to set the oil. You dont want to go too hot and burn it away. Let cool in oven.
Depending on how bad the condition of the pot, you may have to do this 2-4 times to get a thick enough protective coating.

Its not a pot sweetheart, its a total epicurean solution

its a man oven lol

What cant be created in this vessel is not worth putting on the table, in fact it will most likely be that heavenly it wont make it to the table..

I thought it was a Dutch oven. Great piece of cookware anyway.

A couple of years back we had an intellectually challenged guy working for the company, I farted into a large plastic bag and stuck it on his head . Pizza and beer for dinner the night before lol,

He was a very unclean individual and had this massive blackhead on his neck, I got one of the big Island boys to grab him and I dealt to it with a pair of long nose pliers ,

another time we we had a 2" vacuum pad and we popped it on his forehead and gave him a giant hicky between his eyes, And I convinced him that tooth paste would get rid of it, he turns up for work the next day with it smeared over his forehead lol

When i worked glass, I would always get the noob to go to the office and ask owner for the blue glass stretcher.

In the plants, it was the pipe stretcher. Lol.
