I am glad to see this. Not everyone is equipped to school their children at home, so I hope all of these home schooled children are actually being taught the important things they need to know.

Well, no shit Sherlock. There was no choice but TO homeschool.

well that is fine @jirqoadai if it is liberal children. My grandkids are not avoiding school. My youngest are already smarter than your average 4th graders in public schools. And other homeschooling parents and parents with children in christian schools have been in school this whole time.

im fine with reading, righting n rythmatic. but todays " homeschooling " isnt realy that, now is it?

MY kids however are a different story. If Public school kids could just get readin' riting an' rithmatic then that would be a plus and you might actually say they're getting an education. Homeschooled/christian schooled children are working at grades above their ages, studying latin, reading...at 5 years of age, cursive writing, multiplication tables and the younger ones can do addition, subtraction multiplication AND division. They are darn sight more learned in history and science also. and politics.

one of mine did very well in public school. an A and D student untill the honor roll in his last three semesters. E-3 before bootcamp. 96 percentile in nuclear engineering. any parent that sends the pupil to public school and then washes their hands of it will get whats comming down the pike.

Even in just 20 years things have changed drastically @jirgoadai. There's no science, no reliable history, they work in groups and accomplish nothing..well one or two might but the rest of the group is lazy..that's called cooperation. The teachers dress worse than students, their expertise is, in the case of ag teachers, lamentable.venturing into animal neglect and cruelty. When a kid defends himself, he is punished the same as the bully. They learn nothing of government, or anything of any importance really. They learn no life skills, nothing that can help them get a job. nothing that concerns dependability and a skewed vision of the goodness of this country, their own history and their rights as american citizens.
