They've been a joke for years. But then again, so has the "right". Both sides have resorted to childishness and WWE-level theatrics and remarks.

The rest of you may think this whole back-and-forth between the "left" and the "right" is entertaining-- I used to think so, too-- but it's not. It's just sad and pitiful now. It's tearing the country apart.

Frankly, I wish we could get back to the days when both ends could still come together and find some common ground. I think that went out the window when Obama came along. Then everyone after him just made the problem worse, and here we are today.

IMO, a vote for either candidate is a vote for more bullshit drama, more war and less freedom. I'll admit that a Trump pick would be more preferable to a Harris pick, but only in the short-term. The joy and elation end once the left recovers from their meltdown and puts up an unprecedented resistance (like they did in 2017-2020) that will leave Trump's supporters so demoralized and disappointed, they'll wish he had never been elected. The endless bitching and setbacks will be too much for them.

I'm just warning you all right now out of deep concern, don't go into Trump's potential second term thinking the "glory days" are coming back. It's going to get very ugly no matter what happens.

Hmmm, why would "things get ugly"? Would low prices make things "ugly"? Would lower gasoline prices make things "ugly"? How about lower inflation, would that make things "ugly"? Would deporting illegals make things "ugly"? How about an actual United States border, would that make things "ugly"? Would a larger police presence rather than more defunding of law enforcement, make things "ugly"? A less woke military, would that make things "ugly"? OR could it be that Democrats will make things "ugly" because like spoiled children they are going to trash, burn and wreck whatever and whomever they can to show their dismay that they didn't get their way in the election?

well i agree with some of your post...but i don't recall ever being disappointed during president Trump's time in office. THe left had meltdowns everyday and they did everything that they could to destroy the man, his presidency, the country. I didn't get demoralized the first go round and i am sure i won't be the second go round, God Willing and the vote count is so high that the left can't possibly produce enough ballots to overthrow another election. I so remember the night President Trump won that 2016 election... THAT..WAS. AWESOME. The Joy of the next morning. The good feeling all through those four years in spite of asshole democrats.

It's odd that anything the Dems say, anything they advocate is labeled "non violent" yet ANYTHING President Trump says or his supporters is. It's sort of like the "protests" that Dems did in some of the more Dem cities that were labeled "peaceful" as people were murdered, public property was destroyed, properties were set on fire, businesses were looted and/or destroyed, the injured were prevented from getting medical care and police cars were overturned and/or set on fire.
