This is really cool.  It is worth the quick listen.

But I don't believe it, sorry.

Here's why: I was of the generation that had that board game, Mousetrap, as a rainy-day staple. Most of the time, all those complex tricks with the balls didn't work very well.

Chaos and entropy are strong forces. Lots of hidden factors we cannot know, like how the ambient temperature affects the bounce of those plastic tubes, and the like.

Sure. It crossed my mind that someone was just playing those instruments to the ball drop which was probably CG made.

But it was cool anyway.
