Crooner music
This is primarily music our moms and grandmas used to swoon over so I may need help in bringing some of these tunes back . They were primarily males, but not necessarily , that sang alone and the music was more romantic and aimed at the ladies .
Sinatra , Crosby , Dean Martin, Tony Bennet and quite a few more . As I listen to the old stations I'll put them up .
I think its also known as elevator music .
Sinatra - Summer Wind

Re: Crooner music
I'm older than you by 40 - 50 years and I caught the tail end of them as they were still big on tv and radio in my youth . When I'm in the mood I play Sinatra ,Mathis ( my favorite ) and Dean Martin out on the deck with the fire on and some good memories - no different than anyone else .Red Lily wrote:My dad loved Frank but my mother loved Bing and Elvis.
If anyone has some of this lost art , please dig it up and share it .
One of the first crooners to record .

@Daily Bread
Thanks for the memories; I heard the songs without needing to play the videos.
Some things are indelible, aren't they ?
Great day to ya' DB
