From the AP in the OP:
Finley said Wednesday that two people — Drake and a woman whose name has not been released — were initially unaccounted for after the blast, so firefighters and other emergency responders remained on scene for several hours to locate them. Finley said the woman was found in a hospital where, for unknown reasons, she had been registered under another name.

It's my home town, though I've only been back 4 times since I left in '69.

Nevertheless, it still brings the matter a little too close to home for comfort.

Youngstown is not too far from where I live, so I've always been very familiar with WFMJ. It's our local NBC affiliate. Shame on the station for firing her.

That water buffalo wants to make babies?

How about we start with WHITE PRIDE - putting photogenic white women in front of the camera, instead of 400-pound black gorillas.

Youngstown has been a cesspit for 50 years - ever since the domestic steel industry collapsed.  It now has no purpose for living - the groundwater is poisoned, from that railroad accident (only 30 or so miles away), what industries were there are dead, and none have come to replace them.

People of my generation, who left Ohio long after Youngstown collapsed, are now retired.  Our kids have never lived there.  Even more-prosperous areas, like Cleveland or Columbus (home of government, the one growth industry!) look down on Youngstown.

All that town offers is a study in Urban Apocalypse, and what happens after three generations on minimum wage and welfare.  A real-life Starnesville, straight out of Atlas Shrugged.
