You have to have a victim for there to be a crime.

Particularly a theft of deception, which is what "fraud" IS.

If someone tells you he's Napoleon, he's not committing fraud - he's just telling you he's insane. The only crime he's committing is that he's becoming a nuisance.

And if he just wears a nametag, quietly, he's not even being a nuisance. And if you agree with him that he's Napoleon, then there's no issue.

So. For there to be a crime, there has to be a victim. Where is the victim?

It's a legal issue. That is what the courts and Judge decided, I agree with them. You do not.
That makes 0 difference.
Trump was found guilty of fraud. That is the fact.

The fact is that the law has never been used like this before, and never should be, which makes it lawfare.

Have you never tweaked your tax return, even slightly and only by a few dollars? I think everyone has whether they admit to it or not. Should we try to pursue you until we cripple you and put you in jail? Because the victim here is the tax office. There is no victim in Trump's alleged crime.

The tax office prosecute many people every year for fraud.

there does not have to be a financial loss for fraud to have occurred. That is a legal position.
If loss has occurred that par y can sue for loss. Given they charged a lower interest based on trumps net worth it can be argued a loss occurred due to his fraud
