Oklahoma Governor acts to ban teaching of ‘critical race theory’.
“Now, more than ever, we need policies that bring us together, not rip us apart. And as governor, I firmly believe that not one cent of taxpayer money should be used to define and divide young Oklahomans about their race or sex. That is what this bill upholds for public education.” -- Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt.

Give Okies a month and get out of the way, and they perform great feats, albeit the need for such deeds seems almost solely media necessity.
I have never figured out what critical race theory is other than junk. I think it's a notion pushed by Cornell U and other ridiculous, revulsive liberal colleges and universities, sum of which BS adds up to another "Big Lie" that nobody gets but that that can be interpreted on the fly as whatever they want, much to the amusement of chicoms. I'm guessin. No idea, really, and that's good reason to be rid of it.

Idaho is waking up too!
Idaho’s governor, Brad Little, has a bill signed into law that aims to restrict critical race theory from being taught as a subject in schools and universities.
The bill, H 377, prevents teachers from “indoctrinating” students into belief systems that claim that members of any race, sex, religion, ethnicity or national origin are inferior or superior to other groups. Signed into law last week, H 377 also makes it illegal to make students “affirm, adopt or adhere to” beliefs that members of these groups are today responsible for past actions of the groups to which they claim to belong.

@Lummy, Critical race theory basically teaches everything based on race. Mainly; White = Bad. If you were born white, then you were born a racist, and are responsible for all the wrong in this world. But it goes much deeper than that. Here's a an excerpt from an excellent article from Hillsdale College's Imprimis:Lummy wrote:“Now, more than ever, we need policies that bring us together, not rip us apart. But please, keep reading.Critical race theory is an academic discipline, formulated in the 1990s, built on the intellectual framework of identity-based Marxism. Relegated for many years to universities and obscure academic journals, over the past decade it has increasingly become the default ideology in our public institutions. It has been injected into government agencies, public school systems, teacher training programs, and corporate human resources departments in the form of diversity training programs, human resources modules, public policy frameworks, and school curricula.

Operative word is "THEORY". It's like the THEORY of Evolution that is taught as if it's a law and not simply ONE IDEA!

As in the THEORY of relativity , which constitutes a little more than an idea

Right, I guess to a liberal Democrat, a theory and a law are one in the same. It's sort of like a "mandate" to a Democrat is just as viable and just as enforceable as a constitutional law...
