NY City is already hurting and its close to bankruptcy now . If the financials decide to stop investing than that'll probably put an end to it . I hate to see it because it really is a special place but it has to be managed correctly by people with a business background and politicians need not apply . I was in there last year and the damage that the Chinese virus did is irreparable . There used to be thousands of small businesses from the early 1900s up and down the side streets of 5th Ave , Madison Ave and Lexington Ave and every last one of them are gone . All the small specialty shops , watch repair, shoe repair , computer repair shut down and aren't going to come back . They don't talk about it because that would be admitting it but its very noticeable . The only things are pizza shops and message parlors along with the big box stores ( Macys) and nobody's on the streets to shop . Its really kind of freaky , not bouncing off people when your walking down 5th ave and no crowds bring up the statistic of you being the marked person to get hit . They already chased out all the wealthy that paid the taxes and now its putting them in a bigger hole and Hocul , the governor , has no clue how to stop it . It could end up worse than Detroit .

Its scheduled to go 7 but when these drivers realize that the aggregation of going in and out of the city and the cost of the bridge tolls and the hours waiting on those bridges is going to be a great burden off their backs ,they will find another area to deliver and say the hell with going back . Replacing them won't be easy . I used to take my car in their for business or entertainment and now I'll take the train . They change the road rules so often even the taxis can't handle it .

Pray for those truckers, and their success.

Because only divine action is going to save us now.
