Influencer gets shot dead in gunfight between gangs in Tulum Mexico

Prosecutors have stressed that the woman, Niko Honarbakhsh, 44, had no connection to the dispute, which also killed a known local drug dealer named Shawn Billary, 22, from Belize, but confirmed her husband, Karl Perman’s, connection to the DEA.

ABC News reports that Honarbaksh was living in Cancun in Mexico at the time of her death.

Didn't think too much of this yesterday...thought she was just someone in the wrong place at the wrong time.   Now i'm starting to think this was a hit...paid for by her husband.  Reading between the lines, it could be that Niko had separated from her husband and was vacationing with a 'friend'.

Staging some sort of honeypot sting, I suppose.

no..i think it's a matter of her living in cancun, not wanting to be with her husband, she found a younger lover and was having a ball, pardont the pun and her DEA husband decided if he can't have her no one can.   we;ll see.  FBI has pulled stuff like this, CIA, no doubt the DEA is proficient at it too.  NObody knows how to plan and execute these things better than gov't officials who deal in it all the time.

Regardless of what the actual circumstances, dems will try to use this incident as just another example of where gun control is needed. What dems aren't telling and what the gullible don't understand is that criminals don't follow the law anyway.

Happened in mexico so unless we're trying to ban guns there i don't think anything will come out of this.  

I think we've seen from the past 6 years and more that our agents in federal agencies are morally superior and would never in OUR wildest dreams consider framing, bribing, murdering, engage in domestic terrorism, attempt a coup, assassinate foreign leaders or domestic ones,  lie about dossiers, Steal from americans, engage in operations to enrich themselves or engage in extramarital affairs in or out of the Bureau, and plan the delegitimization of an American PResident, spy on Americans and NEVER on an American President.

I'm sure we're all in agreement on THAT aren't we.
