Actually, we DO celebrate the RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY rather than the materialistic, narcissistic one that seems to be everywhere these days. Christmas was ALWAYS about the birth of Christ rather than the "stuff" that retailers want to make money from.
Both my kids and Grandkids know the REAL and TRUE facts about Christmas rather than the fabricated ones that revolve around the devil and materialism.
To hear you tell it, bringing others a bit of joy via sharing gifts is sinful. How sad.
Obviously you injected YOUR own interpretation/words because I said absolutely nothing about gifts or joy. What I said was that we don't do the materialism thing but, like all secularists, you want to put your own spin on anything you don't agree with.
Thankfully what I said is in writing and no matter how you twist, interject or lie about what was in my comment, it stands on its own....expression? Nice attempt at game-playing. (But you might want to look up the definition of, "narcissistic.")Actually, we DO celebrate the RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY rather than the materialistic, narcissistic one that seems to be everywhere these days. Furthermore, and far more seriously, how dare you presume to know my relationship with God?
I did not "presume" anything! I was merely reading and then responding to your comment and replying to it. Your comment said that I am against gifts and joy, NOTHING I said in ANY way said that. It was once again your own bias, your own ideology and your own supposition into my comment. Maybe you need to take elementary reading to improve your comprehension?
The Bible is full of incidences where people used their own bias to interpret what Jesus said rather than what He actually said. They did the same thing when President Trump was in office.
Your belief or guilt about your spiritual condition is yours and yours alone. You can try to hang it everyone else but, it's all yours.

Reversal of order.RV wrote:As the Bible states quite clearly, there will come a time, (today?), when people will think what is good is bad and what is bad is good. The Bible talks about people thinking that what is "holy", "righteous", "pure", etc. is actually not. The comments about Satan being "good" is an example of how things have went down. People will worship the devil thinking that he is "god" while rejecting and denying the real God.

Actually, yes, you did. I merely pointed it out.I was merely reading and then responding to your comment and replying to it. Your comment said that I am against gifts and joy, NOTHING I said in ANY way said that.
What bias?,It was once again your own bias
What ideology, exactly?your own ideology
I didn't suppose anything. You flat out stated that you celebrate the birth of Christ "RATHER THAN the "stuff" that retailers want to make money from."and your own supposition into my comment.
Why do you persist in denying it?
Do you EVER consider the definitions of the words you type as you babble along incoherently?Maybe you need to take elementary reading to improve your comprehension?

Right. Those who are stupid, lying, etc. never think they are. Maybe you need to actually READ my comment, IF you are able to read and understand english. You claimed that I said "birth of Christ" and that is NOT what was in my comment, but of course you knew that and had to alter the comment to support your ridiculous assumption and feigned outrage.

Obviously a secularist would have no knowledge nor understanding of the Joy of the Lord...
