Hmmm, interesting.
That might explain a good number of women I've known.

Actually, that would explain a great deal of the outrageous things we're seeing from BOTH sexes!

A shame there were those who had only their own benefit in mind, and didn't mind how many it destroyed, rather than keeping it on the down low, using it for others benefit.HawkTheSlayer wrote:

IMHO, just because I don't take drugs, murder, rape, steal, rob nor break other laws does not make me "better" than anyone else, possibly more sane, more stable, more sensible and more law abiding than some?

Are you aware of what you wrote? I bolded your words just to refresh your memory...
Also my post started with, IMHO, that is short for In My Humble Opinion.

Why would people volunteer for stuff like that. I am assuming She did volunteer. Wonder if she became a long term user of LSD?

I can only say, there was a mystique about it.
Robert Gannon, a writer for Popular Science in the 1960s-70s, arranged for a controlled use - not unlike this one.
Timothy Leary had a first time with it. So did Ken Kesey. Both were transformed - for better or worse.
Tom Wolfe, in The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, wrote of an "acid test" encounter - group use of LSD - where the Hell's Angels settled in with Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters. A good time was had by all, with the possible exception of a few female groupies who were completely blitzed, and neither Kesey's men nor Sonny Barger's boys, were ready to defend the damsels' honor.
Why did they do it? Why do people tightrope across two skyscrapers, or jump off cliffs in California, or eat Tide Pods? The lure of the forbidden. Maybe Satanic - I don't know.
They do. I don't, but they do.

I'm aware that IMHO stands for, "In my humble opinion."
What I'm unsure of, is your point.
