im NOT attacking you Mariner. were you aware that 90% of all soviet subs that were sunk during WWII were from mines? im pretty sure them buying german warships before barbarossa can explain the plight their navy was in.

you have to remember that anyone in the baltic fleet when the winter palace was fired on was dead withing 3 years from execution in a basement or on a battlefield. so no one ever wanted to be in the navy after that. they only went to keep their family from being butchered.

Thank you for filling in this information. I like finding out the history of these ships, focusing in on them but when you when pan out into a wider focus of history you get a broader & more living history of the whole picture. Keep it coming @jirqoadai it rounds out the individual ship histories into something far more interesting that people might relate to. Thank you again.

i used to be subscribed to this channel. i quit when he refused to do a video on Eads brown water fleet from cincy. the soviet structure between 1921-1941 was keep your mouth shut and dont act different. and yes. out of 1,800 submarines 1,600 were sunk from mines.
