Perfect example of the mindset of progressives

daughter is very progressive and she asked her mom not to invite uncle dave because he is conservative and votes for all candidates that they abhor....so mom told her brother not to come to the wedding because his presence made them all feel unsafe. LOLOL

so Uncle Dave complied but then, Uncle Dave neither sent a check for $1000 which is what he usually sent to that particular family when they had an event..such as a wedding and the bride was so counting on that money!!!!

You may read the letter to Dear Amy...it's astounding and then Dear Amy's response. at least there is someone in journalism that is not totally insane.

Stories like this bring joy to my heart.

Uncle David is far better off without them in his life, family or not. He's probably been hoping for something like this to happen so he can get rid of them.

Beg pardon, if I find this 'story' a little harder to swallow than a vaseline sandwhich.

EDIT:  I just reread that letter.  On second thought, it all only TOO believable.  It's like Dennis Prager is fond of saying - Liberals ruin everything they touch.

And like Red said - Uncle Dave is likely a happier camper these days.
