Food Gadget Heroes!
My favorite food gadget hero and one of the greatest.
I still use my original Ronco , set it and forget it, i bought from Ron's original commercials about 35 years ago or more.
They are still available for even cheaper today than what I paid for one back then. But that's what you get. A cheap rotisserie oven made by a knock off company that bought the name.
It came with so many extras too, that I still use.
Great quality knives, and liquid and solid meat injectors, and a host of other useful kitchen gadgets
The man was a true genius.
I remember watching him on fledging tv as a little kid in the 60s peddling all the gadgets like chop a matic and countless others that had nothing to do with food.
He was way ahead of his time to spend all that money on tv.
He was a genius .
Kudos to you Ron Popeil.

Lol. This is a few years later. Mine is racist white. The only option back then.
I can remember doing a 12 pound turkey with ease. I think I did a 16 once.
Lotsa room.
But mostly just use basket for pork chops and chicken parts.
I've cooked some killer, injected and dry rubbed , whole Boston Butts in this thing for 5 or 6 hours.
This seems to be a smaller modes for $60. But not sure. It could be the same. Lol
Paid one fifty nine
for mine.

Re: Food Gadget Heroes!
The only thing i don't like about them is that they don't have a thermostat.
They cook wide open all the time.
And as a business man, I can understand that. All those moving parts...!
Just imagine you want to rotisserie cook a hen at 200 degrees which is how you would have to cook something tough like dat! Lol
12 hours. Too much wear on the warranty. Lololol.

I bought one of these a while ago.
Breville smart cooker, really good, digital temp controlled, fan on or off.
Makes GREAT cheese on toast
