Sun, Sun, Sun. Here We Come!

Hawk bought him 200 watts of new solar power today and a new controller/regulator.

In the foreground are 4 -25 watt amorphous panels.
In a back , is a single 100 watt monocrystalline panel.

Good on you, Hawk. Watcha plan to run off 'em?

The juice has to go to storage(battery) and then invert.
But you can run DC appliances and DC  lights in the daytime straight off the panels with no battery. Charge phones, run computers, etc, too. Its also got 2 USB Ports.

Right now I'm watching wagon train and running a big fan on the inverter.
I could only get 175 watts connected. Had to leave off a 25 to connect the hundred cause only 4 connectors on the splitter. Lol. Need 5. Ima get a deal fa Dat. I started to buy one, but wasn't sure if I was going to need it.
Inverter says I'm drawing 141 watts and the controller is showing 13.3 volts input in the full sun. So I'm maintaining with prolly a little extra.

I missed the ending to Wagon Train.  What happened after the "Princess," (bitch w/a chip, if you ask me), had her hissy fit over the men of the train brawling over Bill's announcement?

She loved Hawks. He was my great, great grandpa.

She went back to the injuns so the white peeps could be spared.

She was so despondent after that , the injun man told her to go back to bill hawks.

As she was riding in to the wagon train to return to her love , a white man got skeered and shot her for an injun brave.
