It’s being described as a “groundbreaking advance.” Scientists from the University of Cambridge and the California Institute of Technology announced this week that they have created “synthetic” human embryos in their laboratory.
If that announcement is giving you a queasy feeling, you’re not alone. But at least for now, these creators are saying that the embryos will not be implanted in human beings or matured to full development. (got that? at least for now)
They’re using them to study embryonic development in its earliest stages without the need for a human donor. In fact, they didn’t even use human sperm or eggs to create them. They were “grown” using modified stem cells. (The Guardian)

that was June. It feel like August that this news came out.

“And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them” (Genesis 11:6). These chilling words from the account of the tower of Babel in Genesis 11 came to mind regarding this summary of a news article reporting on horrific new research out of Israel that created “‘complete’ models of human embryos” in the lab. These scientists, by disregarding the value of human life, have decided that “nothing will now be impossible” as they try to create synthetic human life.
we've been through this before...where man developes something that has the potential to take us in a very wrong direction and here we go again.
These potential...and you know it's coming....these potential synthetic humans...will they have souls, will they have any inner knowledge of the abolute creator...because THEIR creators are just men..fallible men. and maybe even more susceptible to demonic possession or influence.

Sometimes hollywood just puts the truth out there without thinking. I guess it is just like the blind squirrel finding an acorn every now and then.
