Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) slams the debt limit bill, and offers an amendment that would drastically overhaul the agreement as passed in the House and negotiated by President Biden and Speaker McCarthy.

Military families and legal Social Security recipents should not have to face losing their income every time this comes around.

Nor should the nation be held debt hostage.

Yep, Rand Paul says this every year, and every year the audience applauds, chanting, "Yes! Yes! Yes!"

and it doesn't happen.

There is a reason that the debt limit keeps getting pushed up higher. There is a reason that the voters embrace incompetence, greed, criminality and lawlessness.
