Tropical Tidbits - 2023

So far we have not had anything major, or even minor for that matter. That poses an issue. If we get one, all the dead branches and weakened trees and limbs will knock down lines and block roads.
Up until '78 hurricanes were named after womens, they then decided to add men's names. Little did they know that hurricanes are still women, some just ID as men. Change my mind.

I'll take this heat and drought and high pressure blocking ridge any day and all year over a tropical storm or hurricane.

I look at them for what they are, gigantic distillation systems and water pumps. They create tons of potable water and transport it hundreds of miles. We would be far worse off without them
