Not sure if this needs to be edited or not to " 285 hect  in 9704 acres" or just drop the 9 .

285 hectares is 704 acres.

But that's too much of this precious forest to lose.

Sorry, the 9 was supposed to be a ( but I didn't hit the shift key hard enough and they reside on the same key.  I do that often with my pinky on the shift key but usually I catch it before I hit send. I must have been too annoyed to do an edit this time Lol. Fixed.

I agree. I spent many years working in the Atchafalaya Basin in harmony with nature and it's abundance of great gifts.

Nothing worthwhile comes easy.
