Vacation in the Canadian Arctic.
A drive to the Arctic Ocean through Quebec, Yukon and NWT, Canada.
Trudeau's Route 112 (partial) in Quebec. If you go, don't forget to take a road crew!

Hmmm.
I drove to Alaska following the Stewart-Cassiar Highway (merged with the AlCan Highway at Watson Lake, Yukon) in 1990.
I'm glad I did it - glad to have had that experience; but my memory of the far, far north is somewhat less than picturesque. The tall conifer forests of norther BC disappear past Whitehorse; and the land becomes flat...with plenty of swampy ponds about.
And gasoline was always a worry. FWIW, I understand it's quite a bit more built-up now - the S-C Highway was a thousand miles of dirt, then; now it's paved. More stations and amenities. Which is silly, since Justine Castro seems hellbent on destroying tourism and travel.
I guess these kids did it to do it. Well...gawd luv 'em. But I wouldn't have gone swimming in that cold mudhole in the opening frame...
