I wasn't going to listen to the whole interview but I've listened to a few of these snippets and it just reinforces my view that he's a very intelligent and decent human being.

Elon Musk has done a lot of growing up. He's even more likeable now, than used to be.

I'm not real high on the idea of government oversight, but that isn't to say that I don't see Musk's point, when it comes to EI. If we wait until it's necessary, it may well be TOO late.
*And is Larry Page scary as heck, or what? An AI/digital god?!

Gotta say, too, that Musk's point about about techie's teaching AI to lie is scary as all hell. It returns us to the notion of government regulation/oversight.
The major problem with that, however, [obviously?], is who is going to watch over the overseers??? Who's to trust?

I found Musk's point about a soul interesting.

His argument when it comes to ET's made me LOL. More because I'd never heard a better one. lol
