Interesting. And he came to the same conclusion I had. The video couldn't be more timely for me, as our burials are a recent, and ongoing, conversation between my husband and myself.HawkTheSlayer wrote:
As for myself, I plan to donate my body to science. He plans on cremation. Now all we have to do is somehow finalize our plans.
Again, thanks for vid. It settled some insecurities. At least for the moment, at any rate.
**What's w/the "beefy" Jesus? lol
***What's that bit about graves facing east? Never heard of such a thing.

First off, Jesus said that He was the resurrection and the life and that no one could come to the Father except through Him. Secondly, we were formed, made, created and fabricated by God. That means that we are known intimately by Him including all our parts.
Secondly, we were formed by Him from the dust of the ground, (that He created also), so, He can create us at will.
Last but not least, it does not matter what happens to the body after death because, God knows how to create it, regenerate it, save it, resurrect it and reform it if need be. The body is the easy part, the soul is quite another matter. God says that we are not to be afraid of those who can only kill the body but, to be afraid of Him who can kill the body and soul.
People lost at sea, in plane crashes, etc. who are eviscerated and there is nothing left of their body, can be reformed and resurrected IF they were Christians when they died.
The bottom line is that it makes no difference whether one is cremated, embalmed, mummified, etc. after death. We should not concern ourself with our bodies after death, instead we should be concerned with whether we are living for God while we are alive.
