NYC is allegedly putting up steel barricades around the court house. And the FBI says it is so dangerous that they want to do a virtual arraignment. What the hell is that. I didn't realize FBI agents were such putzes.

That is flat blatantly absurd. This is not a federal case. The FIB has nothing to do with it, as it has everything to do with a New York STATE district attorney who's bringing up (baseless) charges.

Whilst I agree with you mostly there are ALWAYS people and plants in a crowd who will take it from protest to violence either for their own agenda or simply because they are kooks .  Especially now when the stakes are so high and it would be SO easy to turn it into another of their 'violent' Jan 6 agenda scenarios.

I think it was a mistake for Trump to call for a physical protest.  Flood social media and other means etc but don't play into the Dem's hands.  You need to play them at their own game and not fall into their traps.  This, to me, is falling into a trap.

If there IS a protest and even a miniscule inkling of violence, staged or otherwise, which the Dems can use against Trump, they will, and Trump will be gone gone gone!

Opinion respected but this unabated intimidation has been going on long enough and they aren't just trying to destroy Trump but the country along with it . Trumps the only one thats putting everything he has out there and knows these nuts would rather see him dead on the street than even face a judge . If we lose his ideals than its over and the deviants and perverts win so to beat these people we need to be a step worse than them . If it means we went too far than its a chance we have to take to fix this mess . If things get messy and we win ,we will have to face the fact that theresva possibility that someone may come along with sanity and common sense and hold us responsible and make us pay our dues - no problem ,at least sanity will be restored .

...and I will AGAIN reiterate that President Trump said, "peacefully AND patriotically". Apparently that part doesn't support the liberal narrative to "get President Trump and his supporters". They exalt MLK who DID call for protests however, he was not known as a Republican and was not "white", so people seem to think it was ok for HIM but, not President Trump.

You can reiterate until the cows come home but you'll never convince me that Trump telling his supporters "It's time" and to "protest protest protest" is a wise strategy.  So much can, and WILL, go wrong.  It makes absolutely no difference if he adds "peacefully and patriotically" and Jan 6 should show you that.

MLK has been dead for almost 60 years.  It's a totally different political climate now.

Until logic, facts and truth are more important than twisting EVERYTHING to blame President Trump and/or his supporters for EVERYTHING, nothing will change the slide toward socialism. The media will continue to support the liberal Democrat narrative until people start demanding truth and facts. Even then, we may well be beyond the point of no return. It may be a "totally different political climate now" however, facts and truth STILL matter regardless. MLK's assassination and death do not change the facts, the truth nor the words that were actually said, "peacefully and patriotically". Democrats may want to forget the words that were actually said because they are inconvenient but, they were recorded and there is a record of him saying those exact words, regardless of who is "convinced".

It doesn't matter if there is a record of the words "patriotically and peacefully!"

As with ANY large crowd all riled up there will be MANY people who either don't hear the words or don't care.

If you think a riot would put Trump back in the WH in 2024 I disagree. I'd even put a wager on it.
