Lummy? according to the intel John Mearsheimer has on this, ( the makeup of offensive punch ) , its quite general might i add , the forces consist of 500,000 troops and 1,800 " tanks ". be very carefull as you define tanks. im definately sure the 1,800 is not all 4 types of current front line MBT. if youll notice, in Sicily, the Herman Goering division had one MKIV supported directly with 3 MKIIIs to knock any anti tank unit off its feet that attempted to knock out the tiger.
