Reporter/site viciously mocked over staged photo of unfired bullet lodged in wall

Vice News was brutally mocked by many on social media who suspected a photo in one of their reports about the cartel drug war in Mexico may have been staged.
The photo in question appeared in an article last Thursday that took readers “Inside El Chapo’s Son’s House After a Deadly Gunfight.”
The article featured numerous photos from within drug kingpin El Chapo’s son Ovidio Guzman’s compound after Mexican security forces arrested him last week.
Keen readers latched onto one photo in the report that showed an unfired “high caliber” bullet complete with casing lodged inside the gate of the compound, mocking the photo as an obvious fabrication.
One tweet by conservative comedians the Hodgetwins, which asked, “Did the reporter put the unfired bullet in that hole for the pic? C’mon,” received over 7.4 million views and over 75 thousand likes.

Then Vice does this.
Without explanation, Vice appears to have stealth-edited the photo’s caption, changing it from, “A high-caliber bullet poked at one of the gates outside Ovidio Guzmán’s house in Jesús María, Sinaloa,” to, “A bullet left inside a bullet hole in the gates outside Ovidio Guzmán’s house in Jesús María, Sinaloa.”

The article does not explain why an unfired bullet would have been left inside the bullet hole.
The author of the Vice article did not respond to Infowars’ request for comment as of writing.
The fake news accusations come as Vice Media is up for sale with a valuation of less than $1 billion, despite being worth over $5.7 billion in 2017.

Only the ignorant and those who are clueless would know that this isn't a fake/doctored photo. Which is why the MSM will claim that it isn't doctored and that it's "factual".
