mandarin oranges, drained
lime
tajin flavoring

Hawk...do you use jicama in cajun cooking?  I was introduced to this by a cute little mexican american girl, 15 years old...mom was american.  Cut up a jicama, add the oranges.. i like about equal amounts or whatever pleases the eye and palate.   Pour on lime juice...do you like a little or a lot?  and the tajin seasoning.  Refreshing, tasty, wakes up your mouth, fiber, good for ya.

You need to make sure that you peel Jicama well as the outer peel is highly toxic as are the stem, leaves and seeds. Eat it in moderation. People with IBS should avoid it.

Jane say to me...wut dat tase like. I say dat is hod to esplain. Jicama..pronouns HICK ka ma..has the consistency of a less dense tater and jess a tad sweetish. when it cold it is refrashin'. Mix it wis a fruit, lime and tajin ..pronouns Tah heen,, give it a sweet salty tangy tase. I keep it cold.

always. Good to know. didn't know it was toxic peel. but i always peel it.

Dragon Fruit...seen it never tried it...bought goya frozen dragon fruit this morning. I detect a hint of apple.....color is spectacular..unreal.
