GHQ and I today were talking about how fast knowledge and expertise is lost when the times look like they are progressing when really they aren't. Take for instance all of our dependence on computers for example.....IN stores...what happens when the power is cut off or there is a glitch in the system and computers are 'down'. These young folk today...can't make change. They don't know how to write a receipt. In short.....everything comes to a standstill....well Wow...what progress that is. LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOL
There are structures still standing today that were built in ancient times by people who allegedly have less knowledge than we do and yet...their roads, their cement, their structures are still standing today and we have no clue as to how they did that and we definitely can't do the same.
GHQ and i were in an antique mall just down the road. In one area, the owner had an item that she labelled Collander and she put a 15.00 dollar price tag on it. It was not a collander unless you don't mind rinsing your rice in a muzzle put on a horse IN A STALL to keep him from eating the top of the wood gate....see what i mean.
These little wedges...called WEDGES are used to keep your hammer safe and secure when the handle begins to loosen. Show your kid or your grandkid what it is and they would have no clue.

That's where you need a hammer to fix you hammer. Not too different than needing a knife to open the packaging on a new knife.
