Yes, there are ways to disagree with outcomes.
Rioting is not one of those ways.
Riots lead to the strongest most violent nastiest people getting whatever they want.
It is not democratic. It is how coups occur.
It is not the way of the West.

The people that have been convicted now have a criminal sentence for their life.
Those that drove them to it are guilty.
Those that instigated it.

What about the summer of riots by BLM and Antifa?   People were killed, maimed and lost their businesses.  Parts of many cities were burned to the ground.  High profile Democrats (including the Vice President) and 'celebrities' took up funds to bail them.  Most were never even charged.

I'm not excusing the stupidity of Jan 6 but you're focusing on that and ignoring the real and very violent and damaging riots that went on for many months.
