Just a couple days ago, I got a not from gissey.. (nickname)
thanking me for my patience and saying, she will be with me soon; in Texas.

There is either,
a) absolutely no good reason for the divorce, or,

b) the both of them are lying straight through their teeth.

Why is any of this any of this the 'need-to-know' of the entire world's population?

People love high profile gossip, 2. If they didn't there would be no need for trash reporting. Maybe they just wanted to get it out there and try to move on before all the gossip, rumor and innuendo.

She was pissed he decided to keep playing.
The unretirement may be the reason for the divorce.

The divorce is final. Most all things were worked out since last Aug or Sept.

You don't just wake up one morning and decide you want a divorce (unless there are extenuating circumstances). It's usually a good while in the making.
