Do you really think countries like Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Venezuela are destroying the Amazon for the benefit of the people?
It's being destroyed for the benefit of their corrupt governments to fill their personal coffers by supplying palm oil, beef etc to companies like McDonalds to satisfy the insatiable appetite of Americans for fast food. It's UNsustainable and detrimental to the whole planet which definitely makes it EVERYONE'S business and btw the Amazon IS in fact a rainforest.
Rainforest soil is extremely fragile and cannot sustain crops and/or cattle for longer than a couple of years. It is then rendered useless and more rainforest has to be destroyed to start the process again ... and so it goes on.
Without the use of Twitter and/or memes can you help me to understand, in your own words, why you seem to so strongly support this and why Bolsonaro is so appealing to you?

""call them rainforests if you must.""
They call them rainforest because that what they are , And they are most definitely worth preserving. I personally would be more than happy for some of my money being used to help preserve the biodiversity that exists there

Sure it will! Once enough U.S. money has been sent to other third world countries, the United States will look like them and we'll all be as miserable and poor as they are! It's all part of the "New World Order" that Democrats want...
